  1. Descr:     ASCII-based WWW-browser with some HTML 3.0 support, file

  10.    This is the "work-in-progress" version of the text based Web browser, 
  11.    Lynx.  There are a great number of enhancements over previous Lynx 
  12.    versions, including:
  13.  
  14.      *  Some HTML 3.0 support, as well as some Netscapeisms.
  15.      *  The ability to select and download inlined images (see CHANGES)
  16.      *  On screen file management (see FM.announce)
  17.

  19.    This version is compiled with ncurses 1.92d, so it displays text in bold, 
  20.    underline, and normal - instead of reverse and normal with BSD curses.
  21.    It was compiled on a NetBSD -current system.

  23.    Depending on your setup and needs, you might want to compile your own 
  24.    version of Lynx (see userdefs.h for the compiled-in values).  Also, since 
  25.    Lynx 2.4-FM is updated almost daily, you'll want to keep an eye on the 
  26.    latest release.
